Head east on Interstate 90 towards Idaho. From the Washington/Idaho border, it is 73 miles to Lookout Pass on the Idaho/Montana border. At this Montana border interchange, follow the signs right into the parking lot. The parking lot is 200 yards from the I-90 Exit 0 (zero) offramp. It will normally take about 90 minutes to get to Lookout Pass from downtown Spokane.

After leaving the lake resort town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (elevation 2187 feet), you climb over Fourth of July Pass (elevation 3081 feet) and drop into the beautiful Silver Valley. The town of Kellogg and access to Silver Mountain Ski Area are mid-valley at Exits 49 to 51. The historic mining town of Wallace (elevation 2736 feet) is nestled beneath the freeway between Exits 61 and 62. The ski area is located eleven miles further east on I-90 at (Montana) mile marker 0 (elevation 4725 feet).

Head west on Interstate 90 towards Idaho. Lookout is located on the Montana/Idaho border at exit 0 (zero). There is a sign showing the offramp for Lookout Pass shortly before you get to the Idaho border. The parking lot is 200 yards from the I-90 offramp.

It is 100 miles to Lookout Pass from downtown Missoula. So after a long day of winter fun, don't drive home... spend the night in historic Wallace Idaho, only 11 miles west!
