Regional Information
Visit Historic Wallace Idaho The historic village of Wallace (pop. 960) is nestled beneath Interstate 90 a dozen miles west of Lookout Pass. It is "The Silver Capital of the World," and every building in the downtown area is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Wallace boasts of it's Mining, Railroading, and Bordello Museums, a Melodrama and many interesting shops and places to eat and drink.
